How your order reaches you
Free ground shipping on US orders over $150. Below the threshold, shipping is quoted on the invoice by weight and destination, so the number you see is the number you pay before anything leaves the warehouse.
Free shipping threshold
| Order value (before tax and shipping) | Shipping cost |
|---|---|
| Over $150.00 | Free ground shipping, contiguous United States |
| Under $150.00 | Quoted on the invoice, usually $9 to $24 for parcel orders |
| Alaska, Hawaii, US territories | Quoted per order at carrier rates |
| International | Quoted per order, duties and taxes are the buyer's |
The threshold applies to the subtotal of the goods, before tax, duties and shipping. A single order can be split across two parcels and still qualify.
Service levels and transit times
Transit time starts the day the carrier scans the parcel, not the day you accept the invoice. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and US federal holidays.
| Service | Destination | Typical transit time |
|---|---|---|
| Ground | Contiguous United States | 2 to 5 business days |
| Ground | Alaska, Hawaii, US territories | 4 to 8 business days |
| Express | Contiguous United States | 1 to 2 business days |
| Air freight | International | 5 to 12 business days, customs clearance excluded |
| Pallet freight | Contiguous United States | 3 to 6 business days, curbside or dock delivery |
Express and international services are quoted per order and are not covered by the free ground threshold.
When orders ship
We dispatch 2 business days after you accept the invoice. The clock starts when the accepted invoice reaches us, not when you submit the order request and not when we send the quote. Orders accepted after 4pm ET, or on a weekend, start the next business morning.
Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm ET. If several lines on one order ship from different locations, we tell you on the invoice whether to expect one parcel or two.
Packaging
Cameras, locks, sensors and recorders ship in plain outer cartons with no product branding on the outside. The retail box is inside, sealed and undamaged. Batteries travel in the compartment the manufacturer designed for them, and lithium batteries are declared and labelled as the carrier requires.
Fragile items such as alarm panels and NVRs are foam-cushioned. If a carton arrives crushed or tape is broken, photograph it before you open it and tell us the same day. The returns page covers what happens next.

Tracking, freight and international orders
Tracking
We email the carrier tracking number the day the parcel leaves the warehouse, to the address on the order. There is no tracking portal on this site and no account to sign in to. Every status update comes by email from us or from the carrier directly.
Large orders and freight
Orders over roughly 70 kg (150 lb) or made up of several long cartons move on a pallet by freight carrier. Freight is quoted per order and needs a delivery address a truck can reach, plus a contact number for the driver. Curbside delivery is standard; inside delivery and lift-gate service cost extra and must be quoted in advance.
International
We ship worldwide and quote international carriage individually by weight, destination and speed. Import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and any broker charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the invoice. We complete the export documentation and give the carrier the commercial invoice, but we cannot estimate another country's duty for you.
What can delay a shipment
- A backordered line. Most lines ship from stock. If one model on your order is waiting on a supplier, we tell you on the quote and offer to split the order so the rest leaves on time.
- A freight quote. Pallet orders need a carrier quote before we can invoice the shipping cost. That adds a day or two to the quote, not to the transit time.
- Export paperwork. International orders need a commercial invoice and, on some routes, an export licence or a radio-certification check. We do not dispatch until the paperwork is complete.
- An address we cannot verify. We check every shipping address before dispatch. A missing unit number or a rural route with no drop point sends the parcel back to us and restarts the clock.
- Weather or carrier disruption. Storms, floods and peak-season volume slow carriers down. Once a parcel is in the network it is out of our hands, but we will chase it with you.
If any of these affect your order we email you before the dispatch date passes, with the option to wait, split the order or cancel the affected line.
